Superbowl Party

I'm excited to watch the big game!

I wanted to go all out since the Atlanta Falcons are playing, my home team! Rise Up!

I can't wait to see all the commercials. Hopefully the game is better this year compared to last. I found the game last year to be very lackluster and dull. I didn't even care for the commercials. The only saving grace was Beyonce killing half-time.

Back to food...

I made a football shape cake. It was super easy to make. I used my go to chocolate cake recipe.

It's actually the one on the back of the the Hersey's cocoa container. I replace the boiling water with decaff coffee, and used kahlua instead of vanilla extract. I baked the cake in a 10'' baking pan, use what you have. To get the football shape, cut 2'' from the center of the cake. The best tip I found was to cut 4 inches from top and bottom.

Then I made peach margaritas! Super easy recipe via Cuisinart.

Frozen Peach Margaritas

16 oz peaches

12 oz limeade

3 oz triple sec

8 oz tequila

Blend peaches and limeade in a blender or food processors, till well combined.

Add to ice-cream machine. Mix for 18-20 mins, or until thickened.

After it has thickened, add triple sec & tequila. Mix for 2-3 mins.

Pour into a container. It's ready to serve, but I like to put my mixture in the freezer so it firms up slightly. Serve. *Make 4-6 margaritas*

I'm made Philly Cheesesteaks. I put a sirloin steak in my crock pot. I added mushrooms, green bell peppers, onion, and beef broth. I let it cook for 6 hours, and it's so tender now. I found a great recipe on Pinterest from Half Baked Harvest. It's absolutely delicious. I didn't think I would finish my sandwich but I devoured it ,
