I made panna cotta! I wanted to do something with blood oranges before they are out of season. Also, I recently purchased some adorable dessert glasses from Pier 1, so it just made sense to go ahead and make panna cotta. The actual panna cotta layer is silky smooth, everything you would want in texture. I decided to add in freshly ground cardamom to compliment the blood orange. I made a cake for my little sister last week. She's studying abroad in Ghana, so before she left we had a little party for her. Can I just say the food was great. Hey y'all! I made a delicious peach cobbler. My mom was talking about how she hasn't had a good peach cobbler in years. She use to get one almost everyday when we still had Piccadilly's nearby. I know it's not officially summer yet, but to me it's been here already. I been wearing my sandals and shorts since late March. Living in Georgia, the heat can be very intense some days. I am thankful that I now have air conditioning in my car. Last summer, I was stuck in my hot car in rush-hour traffic every day for hours. Now, I can roll up the windows, turn on my air and cruise. You guys have no idea how happy I am! Anywho, when I think of summer. I think of fresh fruit.
